New to Church?
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our church.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
Due to Covid-19 and associated restrictions we are currently unable to meet in the school and hold regular services. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for regular updates and articles to help you grow in faith.
Castle Hill Primary
Our church meets every Sunday at 4pm for our Sunday Service. Tea and Coffee is served before the service at 3:45pm so come and grab yourself a cuppa first!
On the last Sunday of each Month we run Messy Church. This is 'church' for all the family and is a very popular service at LifePoint and in the community. It's great to see families coming together to explore God in messy and exciting ways through craft, activities, celebration, song and food!
We meet at:
Park Prewett Road
Hants RG24 9XA
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 20 minutes of sung worship led by the LifePoint Worship Band. Communion usually takes place after this and anyone who believes Jesus is Lord and Saviour are welcome to participate. We usually use individual cups with juice and bread rolls. After Communion, notices are given, and this is followed by a sermon from one of the leaders at LifePoint. Usually a final worship song will mark the end of the service when there is always an opportunity for you to talk to and pray with one of the leaders or prayer team.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service and there's plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
What happens to the kids at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the church for:
Creche (0-5 years)
Children's Church (6-11 years)
We all start the service together - usually with a lively worship song led by the band. After this song children who are going to the Creche will be taken out by the leader. Those attending Children's Church will stay in the service until after Communion and will be led out just before the sermon starts.
For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
